Boherlahan Dualla Juvenile Club:
Pride of place this week to the U13 boys who had a historic win over Cashel King Cormacs in the County final on Sunday in Dundrum. Before a large crowd the Sash got a great start against the breeze with an early goal from Dara Crosse. The Boherlahan boys were in control with all 13 boys playing their hearts out. Further points from Bobby McLoughlin and Gearoid Horgan gave the lads a halftime lead of 1:5 - 1:2 . Cashel tried to break the resistance but the Sash held firm and second half goals from Bobby McLoughlin and Cian Fogarty and a superb Harry Ryan point had them in commanding position before a late penalty from McLoughlin sealed a convincing win on a scoreline of 4:6 - 1:4.
Captains Jake Gleeson and Daniel Burke received the trophy from County board Chairman Tommy Landers amid joyous scenes. Well done to the boys and mentors on a magnificent result. Thanks to the huge number of parishioners who came out to support the lads.
