County Intermediate Championship

Having won the Mid Final earlier in the year, Boherlahan Dualla now re-enter the competition at the preliminary quarter final stage. The draw for that game had to be delayed because in Group 2 Kickhams and Borrisokane could not be separated as they finished on the same points in the group with the same scoring difference and exact same points scored and a play off was required, which Borrisokane one. As a result Kickhams joined us in the draw which was made on Sunday evening. We face Kilsheelan Kilcash in the preliminary quarterfinal over the weekend of 23rd & 24th September with time & venue TBC. In the other game Cappawhite will face Kickhams.

Big thank you to Lacey's Bar for kindly sponsoring a new set of jerseys for our Intermediate mens team. Tony Lacey was on hand along with Brian Horgan of B&T Sports to make the presentation on Friday evening of the new jerseys to club Chairman Johnny Ryan. Also present Ned Ryan, Seamie Leahy and Cathal D'Arcy of the Intermediate panel as well as team manager Willie Hickey and Selector James Tarrant.

Congratulations to Boherlahan Dualla's U14 Community Games Camogie team who were crowned Munster champions at the Munster Finals in UL. They had a great win against Ballyduff of Kerry in the semi final and then proved the stronger side in the final when they won well against Clare's Doora Barefield. They will now go on to represent Munster at the Community Games All Ireland Finals on the 24th of September in UL. Thanks to all involved with Boherlahan Dualla Community Games for giving these girls such a fantastic opportunity to compete at this level.
