Boherlahan Dualla Camogie
It was a busy busy week for our Camogie Club with a lot of teams in action. Hard luck to our U12 Yellow Team who lost their County Final to Kilruane McDonaghs but gave an excellent display of camogie in the final. Our U15s came out on top against Knockavilla Kickams. Our Minor girls lost their first game to Holycross. We were also on the wrong side of the results in both of our adult games with our Junior B2 team losing out to Annacarty and Intermediates going down to Borris-Ileigh. Lots of more games ahead this week so best of luck to all.
Two more U12 county finals to look forward to next weekend. Our U12 Team 1 will take on Borris-lleigh in the U12A Final and our U12 Blue Team will face Holycross Ballycahill.
Well done to all of the U14 Boherlahan Dualla girls who were involved in the Orla McDonagh National Blitz at the weekend: Doireann Ryan, Abbie Horgan, Leah Maher, Bríd Quirke and Sophie Moynihan. Congrats to Philly Ryan the U14A Tipperary manager and his team on winning the Orla McDonagh A Cup Final.

Intermediate Hurling Championship
Boherlahan Dualla 3-18
Carrick Davins 3-16
On Saturday evening last our Intermediate Hurlers took on Carrick Davins in the Clonmel Sportsfield in their rearranged second round fixture in this year’s FBD Intermediate Hurling Championship. Playing against a strong breeze Boherlahan Dualla started strongly helped by an early goal inside 10 minutes from Captain Seamie Leahy. The first 25 minutes was a tight affair with little to separate the sides. However, Davins hit a purple patch just before half time scoring 2-4 without reply. Boherlahan Dualla weren’t helped by an injury to Mossy Bourke at full back and went in at half time down by 8 points. For the Sash to have any chance of coming back, it was clear for everyone in attendance that a quick start was needed to the second half and that came from substitute Fionn MacCullagh, replacing Bourke, getting a goal to start the comeback. With 10 minutes to go, the teams were tied on 2-13 apiece. James O’Sullivan, at the edge of the square, was industrious all through the game looking to either win breaking ball or lay it off and when his chance came in the dying minutes of the game, he didn’t need to be asked twice as he rattled the back of the Davins net. Boherlahan Dualla saved their best score to last when Seamie Leahy popped up again to split the post with a no look over the shoulder shot from the hospital side side-line to put 5 points between the teams with time almost up. Davin’s managed scored a late goal from a 20 meter free with virtually the last puck of the game. With score difference coming in to play if three teams finish level, the final goal may be important in the final reckoning. Top scorer was Tossy Ryan who score 12 points, seven of which were from place balls. In the other game in our group, Lorrha beat Golden on a score of 3-19 to 0-11. The table stands Lorrha top the table on four points (SD+32), Golden are second by virtue on head to head with 2 points (SD-12). Boherlahan Dualla are third with 2 points (SD-3). Carrick Davin’s are bottom of the table with no points (SD-17). The final round fixtures see Boherlahan Dualla take on Lorrha and Golden with take on Davins with the games to be played on the weened of the 10th September.
