All you have to do is either upload your photo to Facebook or Instagram and tag #boherlahanduallalgfa and #OneGoodClub. Boherlahan Dualla Camogie Club

U14 Camogie

We entered two U14 camogie teams this year for the first time due to the fantastic number of girls in the parish at this age level playing camogie. Following some fine performances by both teams in the group stages our U14A team have qualified for the Cup Semi Final and our U14D team won their Semi Final last Saturday against Shannon Rovers and will now face Brian Boru’s in their Cup Final. Well done to all of the players, coaches and mentors for all of your hard work in getting to this stage. The very best of luck in your remaining matches.

U12 Camogie:- Well done to our U12 teams who had great performances against Moyne Templetuohy and Ballingarry this week.

U8 Camogie :- Well done to our U8s who attended a super blitz in Cashel on Tuesday evening where they played Rockwell Rovers, Cashel & Holycross.

Long Puck:- Congratulations to Abbie Horgan who won the Community Games County Long Puck Competition in Templemore last Monday. She will now go on to represent Tipperary in The National Finals in Carlow in August.

Junior Football

Boherlahan Dualla 4-13 Loughmore Castleiney 1-5

After conceding an early goal, Boherlahan Dualla regained their composure to see off Loughmore Castleiney and maintain their 100% record in the Mid Tipperary Junior B Championship. The final group game will be against Moyne Templetuohy in the next couple of weeks.

1970 & 1971 Jubilee Reunion

On Saturday evening 18th June our Minor and Juniors teams will be holding a reunion in Lacey’s Ballydine to commemorate their success of 50 years ago. In 1970 Boherlahan Dualla, captained by Seamus Power, won the county Minor A championship defeating Clonoulty Rossmore in the final. The following year they reached the final again losing out on this occasion to Kilruane MacDonaghs. Also in 1971 our Junior team captured the Mid Title only to lose out in the final to Kildagan in the final.

An interesting article from the 1970 Tipperary Yearbook noted the 1970’s team connection with famed Boherlahan & Tubberadora teams dating back to the foundation of the GAA. (Click link here to see a copy). Members of these teams would go on to have a lasting impact in our club whether it was coaching and managing teams or holding officer positions within the club and many of them are regular visitors to the field supporting the Blue and Sash still. We thank them for their support and dedication to the club and wish them an enjoyable night regaling in past battles and triumph’s.

Cumman na mBunscoil Finals.

We wish the boys and girls from Boherlahan, Ballytarsna and Dualla National Schools the very best in their upcoming Cumman na mBunscoil Finals which are on next week. To have all three schools with teams making it to the final is a great achievement and credit must go to the Principals, teachers and coaches for their dedication and commitment shown. Lotto

There was no winner of this week’s lotto worth €6,000. The numbers drawn were 4 – 19 --30-31. Next week’s Lotto jackpot is €6,200. Congratulations to our five luck dips winners, Doireann Shelly, John Devane, Michael O’Sullivan, Geraldine Power and Eoin Gallagher who all won €50 each.

Supporting the lotto each and every week means so much to our club and our community. From as little as €2 per week, our lotto covers the costs for the upkeep and maintenance of our pitches and facilities including the walkway. It is raising funds for our complex redevelopment as we seek to expand and modernise for our ever growing club.

It also helps finance off-field activities such as our Healthy club Project, Gaeltacht Scholarships, Youth Talks amongst others. To support your club and be in with a chance of winning get your ticket now by clicking the link.
