LGFA/Lidl One Good Club
The second theme for #OneGoodClub is #TakeNotice and will run June 6th -19th. In today’s modern world, we are always ‘on’ and this level of distraction can stop us from appreciating what’s around us. We are mind-full instead of mindful. So, stop. Just take a few moments to be aware of what is going on within you and around you. Be curious. Be quiet. Be present. Watch out for "Kindness Rocks" placed around the community over the next two weeks. 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th class primary school students of the parish were tasked with painting these rocks with the option of adding a simple thoughtful message. Watch out on our social media channels & Whatsapp groups for more details on our "Take Notice" initiatives.
U15LGFA Feile
A massive well done to our U15 Feile Ladies & Coaches on reaching the Shield Semi-Final on Sat 4th June in Mallow. This is where their Feile journey ends. Congratulations in getting this far and we hope you all enjoyed your day out.
Boherlahan Dualla Parish Sports Evening
The Boherlahan Dualla Parish Sport evening returns on Thursday 16th June @ 6pm. Events start with the tiny tots race, sprints for all ages, three legged races, sack races, long puck relays and finish off the evening with the famous tug-o-war! Registration on the evening. €5 entry fee at the gate per car. Please come along for what promises to be a fun family evening.
Junior & Leaving Certificate
With the Junior and Leaving Certificate exams starting next week, matches will be taking a backseat. We would like to wish all our players the very best of luck in their exams.
Junior Football
Boherlahan Dualla 0-7 JK Brackens 0-6
It was a busy week for our junior footballers. First up on Tuesday evening we took on JK Brackens in the first outing of the year. In a tight game with scores at a premium, we did enough to hold off a determined JK Brackens team.
Boherlahan Dualla 3-9 Upperchurch Drombane 1-9
Next up we welcomed Upperchurch Drombane in the second game of the week on Friday evening. And as the old adage goes, goals win games and so it proved to be. Next up we travel to Castleiney on Friday evening to take on Loughmore Castleiney.
Cúl Camp
Registration is now open for this year’s Cul Camp which is on from Monday 11th Jul to Friday 15th July. To attend Cúl Camp the children MUST have completed junior infants. The age for registration is 6 but once they have completed junior infants they can attend.

LOTTO
There was no winner of this week’s lotto worth €5,800. The numbers drawn were 5 – 8 -17-25. Next week’s Lotto jackpot is €6,000. Congratulations to our five luck dips winners, Emma Hoare, Phil Coman, Tricia Ryan Corcoran, Catherine Trainor & Maureen Delaney who all won €50 each.
