Little Leagues
After three weeks of competition our Little League finals were held on Sunday evening 22nd May in front of a large crowd of parents, family and supporters. Once the pregame parades were taken care of the action began with some epic tussles. The level of skill and determination shown by these young players is a testament to them and their efforts. A big thank you to the parents and all those who help organise the competition, to our young whistlers who were there ever night. We are looking forward to the 2023 League competition already.

Lidl’s One Good Club™ is a five-step youth mental health awareness programme , developed in partnership with the Ladies Gaelic Football Association (LGFA) and Jigsaw, the National Centre for Youth Mental Health which aims to raise awareness and improve understanding of mental health while empowering clubs to positively affect their members and communities. It begins on May 23rd and our first theme for #OneGoodClub is **Be Active** exercising releases endorphins that make us feel good. The simplest way to think about it is healthy body = healthy mind.
So our first challenge is #10for10 - aim to achieve 10000 steps a day for 10 days over the next 2 week. Go with a friend, on your own for some headspace, parents maybe get your steps in while training is on. Encourage your friends & family to take on the challenge too.
Healthy Club
Boherlahan Dualla GAA, Camogie & Ladies Football clubs are taking part in the GAA Healthy Club Project. The Healthy Club project aims to help GAA clubs explore how they support the health and well-being of their members and the communities they serve. The project aims to help clubs, identify what they are already doing well, identify areas where they can improve, and empower them to ensure that everyone who engages with their club benefits from the experience in a health-enhancing way. This includes players, officers, coaches, parents, supporters, or members of our local community.
We would appreciate if you could complete the brief questionnaire, available on our website and social media pages, to help guide us on our Healthy Club journey.
