Boherlahan Dualla Camogie Club

It has been a very busy week on the camogie front. Our U8s had a very enjoyable blitz in Littleton. The U10s played a brilliant challenge against Gailltír from Waterford in Boherlahan. U11s will play the first round of their League this week against Moycarkey Borris. Our U13s have won their first two group games against Templemore and Silvermines. The U16s have now won all of their group games in the U16A Championship and will contest a semi final in the coming weeks. Our Intermediates got their Championship off to a brilliant start with a win over Toomevara and then unfortunately lost their second game to Cahir. Next up for the Intermediates is Moneygall this Sunday 3rd September @2pm in Moneygall.

Community Games

Huge congratulations to the Boherlahan Dualla Community Games U14 camogie team on their All Ireland win at the finals in Carlow on Sunday. They met Glenmore-Tullogher-Rosberion from Kilkenny in the Semi - Final and won that match convincingly 5-10 to 0-6. They then went on to take on Galway's Portuma in the All Ireland Final of the competition. The Tipperary girls proved to be a much stronger team on the day with talent and determination all over the pitch and won on a scoreline of 5-21 to 0-10. This makes it three All Ireland Titles in a row for Boherlahan Dualla having previously won the title in 2021 and 2022. What an amazing achievement for all involved and it reflects the seriously talented group of underage girls that are coming through the club at the moment. A very special mention to three girls on the panel who played in all three finals Abbie Horgan, Neasa Dwan and Sophie Moynihan.
